The
Languedoc Roussillon is the Region occupying the western end of the south coast
of France on the Mediterranean Sea. It borders the Spanish Costa Brava to the
south with Provence to the east, and the Masif Central to the north. Previously
the unfashionable part of the Mediterranean coast, this region is now one of the
fastest growing areas of France.

About Us
We
moved to France in 1985, after buying an old wine cave that was in ruins. During
the next two years we set about the renovations. Our village was hidden in the
mountains of the "Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc" and contained 65 inhabitants.
The nearest shops were 40 minutes drive away. Ten years later, with old age in
mind we moved to a modern "villa" in a larger village, that contained all
facilities including shops, doctors, dentist and banks. We have been involved in
tourism during the time we have been here and Adrian was, for some years on the
committee of the local tourist office.
We
compiled this site to help visitors and anyone contemplating moving to the
region.
